About

I’m Ryan Spoon and I have had the privilege of working across many great companies and products in the sports, media, and consumer spaces: Yahoo, Sorare, BetMGM, ESPN, beRecruited and through SCN Ventures.

I am President at Yahoo Media Group — home to Yahoo Finance and Yahoo Sports, and previously was COO at Sorare, COO at BetMGM and spent 8+ years at ESPN, where I led digital in various capacities. Before ESPN, I was a venture capitalist at Polaris Venture Partners and led Dogpatch Labs (2009–2012). I founded beRecruited.com (acquired in 2013) and spent 2003–2007 at eBay (internet marketing, social media & leading Kijiji.com).
